Rapid Prototypes for Aero Wheel Design

Traditionally, refining rim profiles requires costly molds and extensive machining at every stage of development. We’ve replaced that approach with functional 3D-printed rim prototypes, allowing us to test multiple wheel configurations in rapid succession. This enables us to build a prototype rim and take it straight to the wind tunnel, cutting weeks (and sometimes months) out of our development cycle.

Optimising Tyre and Rim Interaction

Beyond aerodynamics, 3D scanning & printing allows us to capture the exact shape of tires once fitted and inflated on the rim. By understanding the tire-to-rim interaction in precise detail, we ensure every Scribe wheelset is optimised for real-world riding conditions, not just lab data.

From Prototype to Production to Sustainability
